Two-Pillar Approach
The Dark Woods Foundation operates through two complementary pillars of work, addressing both local and global challenges in sustainable development.
In the UK, we function as a grant-giving organisation, supporting grassroots community organisations in the Kirklees region of West Yorkshire through targeted small grants.
Internationally, we aim to raise awareness of the challenges facing rural farming communities caused by climate change and volatile commodity markets, while also directly supporting projects that address these critical issues.
